At Sunset + Vine, we keep track of about 450 keys. When you have that many residents relying on you, having a good key control system is essential. When you use KeyTrak, there’s controlled access to every key, keeping residents safe and office staff accountable.

I’ve used HandyTrac in the past, and it was not a very pleasant experience. It’s more complex than KeyTrak, so you have to compromise speed and user-friendliness. When you use KeyTrak, it’s as simple as pulling a quick report to see which keys are out, who checked them out, and when. Then, returning a key is as easy as inserting it into any available slot, and the system recognizes which apartment it belongs to. That is very important, because it means we don’t have to manually keep track of whose key it is.

It also means if a key gets lost, we don’t need to have the unit number on the tag — we will know who it belongs to but anyone else that finds it will not. Someone would have to try 299 different apartment locks before they found the one that works.

KeyTrak is so reliable, and it makes everyday operations so easy. It’s a no-brainer.
