National Guard men and women from all 50 United States, Guam, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands and the District of Columbia will be gathering at the 134th National Guard Association of the United States (NGAUS) General Conference and Exhibition from September 9 to 12. KeyTrak will also be attending the event at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center in Reno, NV to introduce attendees to the latest offerings in key and asset management solutions.

“We are looking forward to attending the 2012 NGAUS conference and showing how KeyTrak helps the military do more with less through improved efficiency, reduced risk of liability and better protection for our country and citizen soldiers,” said Vice President of Sales Richard Battle.

This year’s conference is themed “The National Guard: Hometown Force, Global Reach” and will feature guest speakers from the Pentagon and Congress. Conference visitors will have the opportunity to attend a variety of professional development workshops as well as discover products and services currently targeted toward the defense industry.

KeyTrak is familiar with the security concerns the defense industry faces. The KeyTrak Guardian system, which allows for the total lockdown of keys in a wall panel, is currently used to secure keys and assets for the United States government and several military facilities. KeyTrak systems also help businesses reduce their risk for liability by automatically recording when users return or remove keys and assets to or from the system, creating a 100 percent verifiable audit trail.

NGAUS was created in 1878 to provide unified National Guard representation in Washington after the Reconstruction Era and is currently the largest defense industry trade show that caters to the National Guard. Including nearly 45,000 current or former National Guard officers, the National Guard maintains its goal of obtaining better equipment and training by educating Congress on military needs.
